Who Needs Us?

Snorers & Those With Non-Refreshing Sleep

Snoring and sleep apnea are prevalent in a large subset of the population. Both disrupt sleep, leading to fragmented rest. To combat these issues, we use polysomnography and home sleep studies.

Those With Parasomnia & Sleep Walking

While children often sleepwalk, parasomnia is rarer in adults and can be provoked by alcohol and medication. Sleepwalking, however, should be distinguished from REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD). This is a neurodegenerative disorder first described in 1986 and has been linked to the development of Parkinson's disease.

Children With Sleep Problems

Children who sleep well grow well. Children with insomnia and other sleep-related disorders should see a physician who's trained to help. Vancouver Sleep Center's physicians love working with kids and can provide all the gentle care they need to sleep well.
